TTR110E ultimate toy

TTR110

We wanted to build the ultimate stock TTR110E using parts we stock in store at WBR Motorcycles.

The Bike –

Yamaha TTR110, the ultimate toy young or old. The TTR110 is the only kids bike still manufactured in Japan with the CRF and KLX both coming from Taiwan factories. The TTR110 comes in at 7kg lighter and is a great platform to build up an adult capable mini.

Suspension –

Front fork we have used dampner rods that increase the height of the fork and also increase the dampning of the front. Matching these with heavy duty fork springs and slightly heavier fork oil you have a much better ride up front.

The rear shock in this bike is a FOX float shock, unfortunately these are no longer available but the next best thing is the DNM rear shock available in different rates.

Handling –

The stock foot pegs have to go, they are tinny and designed for 10yr old feet we have two options to choose from, we went with the steel peg on this build

Pro Taper have the best bars for these and there is also two options here the CRF50 or 110 bar bends we went with the higher CRf50 bend bar with Pro taper full diamond grips

For traction the std tyres are a very hard pack style pattern so we went with Dunlop MX33 front and rear to get this thing hooking up. A great mod for these if have the tyres off is adding a rim lock, especially in the rear as when ridden hard the tyre can spin on rim and cause flats by tearing the valve

Pro Circuit triple clamps are a great mod for these little screamers, gives you way more bar mounting positions and also raises the front end even further

Strike seats tall seat foam is fitted to give you more room in on the bike and is a great addition to enjoying the ride and handling.

 

Engine –

We wanted to stick with the stock TTR110 engine but enhance it to make it perfect for pulling adults around. Pro Circuit T6 exhaust was a must along with the GYTR intake filter. Once these parts are fitted the bike starts to run to lean so we also fitted the GYTR jetting kit. A great way to then get a blast of power to wheelie or pick revs up out of a corner is the clutch kits. With this combo you have a good starting, well tuned engine package thats a blast to ride and out performs the CRF110 and KLX110 as the standard TTR110 is 7kg lighter than the others and the engine the strongest of the bunch.

Bling –

No bike is complete without MX Ink graphics and Strike seat cover. We have also gone the extra mile to bling the rims on this build using 74 works to anodize the stock rims to look like the YZ’s
